The opportunity

Manages all aspects of payroll activity and ensures timely processing of payroll(s) in ADP system with emphasis on accuracy and SOX control compliance. This opportunity is based in our Sales Marketing and Distribution Team.

The role

  • Provides day-to-day management of payroll functions.
  • Resolves problems and responds to non-routine inquiries relating to finance issues, office policy, and operations with an emphasis on payroll.
  • Ensures SOX compliance including maintaining required documentation.
  • Serves as Security Master for ADP. 
  • Coordinates with Human Resource Department to ensure employee records are accurate in ADP system.
  • Coordinates South Carolina Incentive Agreement personnel/payroll reporting requirements.
  • Assists with monthly financial reporting requirements as needed.
  • Provides financial data and analysis as needed.
  • Maintains confidentiality regarding company financial data.
  • Performs other duties as assigned to meet business needs

The requirements

  • Associate degree or equivalent training (apprenticeship program, trades certification) + Minimum of 10 years of relevant and managerial experience 
    OR  
    University degree + Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
  • Extensive knowledge of financial procedures and practices required
  • Advanced knowledge of ADP referred
  • Strong attention to accuracy and detail
  • Ability to work in a team-based environment
  • Vision is required in order to read instructions, interpret data and formulate metrics
  • Hearing is required in order to hear instructions, receive information, and understand safety warnings
