The opportunity

Supports Product Sales Support department, supports management reports, communicating with internal/external customers and tracking key projects.  This opportunity is based in our Sales, Marketing, and Distribution team.

 

The role

  • Understands and reviews customer demand signals to submit lab dip requests to start the color development process.
  • Works closely with Gilchem lab for keeping lab dip developments on time and ensuring delivery to the proper party for review.
  • Maintains customer and internal databases to reflect accurate status of past and current color developments.
  • Aligns with customer colorists on lab dip development to push for color comments, to review open requests and work through difficulties.
  • Maintains the color development library including physical color standards and lab dip books.
  • Reviews customer BOM’s to understand change requests and ensure proper record keeping.
  • Submits set up requests and manages the item set up tracker to ensure set ups are completed on time.
  • Maintains organization and cleanliness of work room.
  • Orders and maintains sample inventory. Reviews and preps for customer requests.
  • Maintains fabric library including creating fabric headers for customer review.
  • Completes spec and color comparisons for style/color proposition. Prepares both internal analysis files as well as customer facing presentations.
  • Coordinates customer fit sessions: ordering and prepping samples, securing model, capturing notes and updating customer tech packs.
  • Organizes customer trim submits.
  • Maintains department KPI’s for review.
  • Works with cross functional teams to maintain annual sales reports.
  • Manages and submits vendor invoices for approval and payment.
  • Assists with data entry in customer PLM systems, as needed.
  • Sets up Smartsheet templates for team data management needs.
  • Other duties as assigned to meet business needs.

The requirement

  •  Associate Degree and 3-5 years of related experience
  • Work requires occasional lifting and moving boxes to organize samples.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.) and Smartsheet.
  • Must be able to generate financial spreadsheets with links, macros, formulas, conditions, etc.
  • Must be able to develop graphic presentations, PowerPoint presentations, and other documents as needed.
  • Able to work in both office and manufacturing environments.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Exceptional administrative and technical skill, including verbal and written communication, accountability, professionalism, and discreetness.
  • Comfortable working with numbers and calculations.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong organization, follow-up, and priority management skills.
  • Schedule flexibility and calmness during changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to take direction and manage tasks from multiple managers.
  • Able to work in a team-based environment.
  • Hearing is required to hear instructions, receive information from various sources, and understand safety warnings.
  • Vision is required in order to read instructions, interpret data, and formulate metrics.
